Gala of London Long Stay Lipcolour Review

We have all been hearing about Gala of London since we were young. Times have changed and so did makeup trends. It's all about liquid lipsticks these days. Gala of London too decided to move ahead with the generations and created a product that goes well with today's trend. It is the Long Stay Lipcolour. Let's see how well they worked for me.

So, Gala of London sent me two lip colours and after a lot of trying and testing, here is my honest review.

Firstly, the lipstick comes in a cardboard packaging unlike most lipsticks do.

The lipstick comes in a transparent tube with a silver cap and a doe foot applicator. The lipstick is tiny. If you like collecting more shades, this could be an advantage. The price of this is Rs 225 for 1.6 ml.

I received 2 shades. Red cherry, a cool toned red is a dupe of Mac Russian Red and ABH Bloodline. Summer Sunset, a coral red is a dupe of NARS heat wave.

The lipsticks come with safe ingredients and are mentioned on the outer cover. Coming to the texture, Red Cherry goes on very smoothly but Summer Sunset takes a little more effort. Red Cherry is softer and buttery in comparison. Both the shades are equally pigmented. They can be slightly drying. A lipbalm is recommended.
Let's now see how they performed. After splashing a lot of water and rubbing, the lipsticks did not dissolve at any point. Red Cherry was intact. Summer sunset started losing it's pigment.
You can very well gauge the quality of the lipsticks after this test. These are premium quality lipsticks.
premiumight not come off easily with cleansing milk. You might use an oil based remover or even oil. They stay for a very long time depending on what you eat/drink.
Pros
-Highly pigmented
-Longlasting
-Waterproof
Cons
-Slightly drying
-Less quantity for the price compared to other lipsticks
You can buy them from Nykaa.
